Material & construction

How satin behaves in production.

Satin is a weave, not a fiber — polyester satin is the workhorse in our range, with silk-blend options for luxury tiers. The face is lustrous and smooth; the back is matte, which keeps linings from sliding.

Seams need French or bound finishing — raw satin edges fray visibly. Structures stay soft: pouches and drawstring shapes dominate, and light interfacing is added only where a base must hold form.

Trade-offs to plan for: satin snags on rough surfaces and shows water spots, so retail packaging matters more than on other materials. We confirm finishing and packing at sampling.

Customization on this material

Each option is confirmed on the sample before bulk.

Color
Piece-dyed to Pantone; sheen holds color depth.
Finish
Classic lustrous, crushed, or matte-back reversible.
Structure
Drawstring, zip pouch or soft box; light interfacing per spec.
Logo
Silk-screen, embroidered patch or woven label — direct deboss does not suit satin.
Trim
Contrast matte trims read well against the sheen.
Lining
Self-lining or contrast polyester per project.

Buyer FAQ

Is satin durable enough for daily-use bags?

Satin suits gift, evening and occasional-use programs best. For daily-tote use we would advise a satin-face with a sturdier backing — confirmed at sampling.

Will the sheen look the same in every batch?

Sheen varies slightly with dye lot and light direction — we align sheen level against your approved sample before bulk.

What is the MOQ?

Our export custom orders start at 500 pieces per style. Sample orders are available before bulk commitment.

What are the payment terms?

50% deposit and 50% balance before shipment.
